Privacy Policy
Effective September 26, 2026. This policy explains how DealBolt, a T9 Business Solutions company (“DealBolt,” “we,” “us”), collects and uses information through deal-bolt.app, the waitlist and the app preview. A policy covering the DealBolt app itself will be published before the app launches.
Who this is for
DealBolt is a business tool for licensed motor vehicle dealers. This site is not directed to consumers or to anyone under 18, and we do not knowingly collect information from anyone under 18.
Information we collect
- What you give us: your name, business email, mobile number for texts (optional), dealership name, city and state, dealer license status, business details you choose to share (such as cars sold per month and accounts carried), your text-message consent choice, and anything you write to us.
- Collected automatically: like most websites, our hosting provider records technical information such as IP address, browser and device type, pages viewed and referring site, and uses cookies and similar technologies to run the site, prevent spam and measure traffic.
We do not ask for Social Security numbers, bank or card numbers, credit reports, or information about your customers through this site.
How we use it
- To respond to you and contact you by email, or by text if you opted in, about DealBolt, the beta, the Founding Dealer program and launch access
- To verify that accounts are for licensed dealers
- To understand which dealers need DealBolt and improve the product
- To keep the site secure, prevent fraud and spam, and meet legal obligations
How we share it
We do not sell your personal information and do not share it for targeted advertising. We share it only with service providers that help us run DealBolt (such as our website host and form provider, WordPress.com/Automattic, and our email provider), under their obligations to protect it; with professional advisers; if required by law or to protect rights and safety; or as part of a merger, sale or reorganization of the business.
Text messages
DealBolt communicates by email and text only; we do not make phone calls to waitlist members. We text you only if you checked the optional consent box, and consent is never a condition of joining the waitlist or buying anything. Mobile phone numbers and text-message consent are not shared with or sold to third parties or affiliates for their marketing purposes. Reply STOP to any message to opt out, or HELP for help. If you join the waitlist, we will email you about DealBolt. Every marketing email includes a way to unsubscribe, and we honor unsubscribe requests promptly.
The app preview
The app preview runs in your browser with sample data and stores anything you change only on your own device. Do not enter real customer information into the preview.
How long we keep it and how we protect it
We keep waitlist information while the waitlist and launch are active and for as long as needed for the purposes above, then delete it or keep it only as required by law. We use reasonable administrative, technical and physical safeguards, but no system is perfectly secure.
Your choices and rights
You can ask us to confirm whether we have your information, give you a copy, correct it, or delete it, and you can opt out of emails and texts at any time. Depending on where you live (including Texas), you may also have the right to opt out of the sale of personal data, targeted advertising and certain profiling; we do not do any of those. To make a request, email info@deal-bolt.app with the subject “Privacy request.” We will respond within 45 days and may need to verify your identity. If we deny your request, you may appeal by replying with the subject “Privacy appeal,” and we will respond within 60 days. We will not discriminate against you for using these rights.
Changes
We may update this policy. We will post the new version here with a new effective date and, for material changes, notify people on the waitlist.
